We offer a number of different types of matchlock muskets and calivers.
Each piece is hand crafted after recieving the order. We use commercially
produced barrels to insure a safe arm (given proper loading and care).
The barrels are octogon at the breech and taper to round with one or
two wedding bands. We offer the muskets currently in 62 caliber or 75
caliber.
Our musket/caliver is available with either a 36 or 41 inch barrel The stock
is made from walnut. All hardware is steel
or brass. Each arm comes with a ramrod, a match, and an instruction
booklet. You have your choice in either a squeeze bar or conventional
trigger. You may also choose between a rectangular continental
lock plate or a later era plate (similar to a flintlock plate).
The Tattershall Arms matchlock starts at $800 for a 62 caliber musket
or $950 for a 75 caliber musket and each is a custom piece.
