Due to illness and other factors we are suspending business until some time in July 2013. Please feel free to email us with questions but we will not be taking orders for our products or pavilions/tents until we reopen.
Check out our new hangers and equipment belts under the gear link below.
Unfortunately as is the way of the world our prices are increasing. After July 31st, 2013 prices will be increased by appoximately 10%. Costs of materials are going up and we have absorbed the costs up until now. So! If you want to save, place an order before Sepetember 15th to assure the current prices on our leather products. This does not apply to tents as those prices are set by Panther and we follow their pricing.
Tattershall Arms specializes in 16th thru 18th century tack. Tattershall Arms fashions a number of different leather items such as sword hangers, scabbards and early style Highland shoes. We also carry a number of commercially made swords and other accoutrements.
The owner (William Wilson), known in reenactment circles as Captain William Crawford, has been studying period military practices, military arms and gunsmithing for over 20 years. From this study has arisen Tattershall Arms.
In reenactment circles and in the SCA William portrays a Highland Officer in the British Army. He also portrays a Captain in Roger's Rangers. When doing Elizabethan reenactment he portrays a Welsh Gentleman in the Court of Queen Elizabeth.
Please keep checking back. As we get them scanned in we will have pictures of many of our offerings. All of the items listed on these pages are suitable for pre-17th Century use unless otherwise noted.
Please make sure that you include a valid return email address when you request information. Lately people have been using bogus return email addresses to thwart spammers which makes it very difficult for me to send information back.
